Ground Balancing

wrong way ron

New member
While ground balancing I hold the V3 waist high squeeze trigger and hold enter. I lower the coil to the ground and pump the coil 4 to 5 times any where from 1 inch to 12 inches and sometime the screen will lock up and not move from the start up screen what up any suggestions.

Shouldnt be in the start up screen, you should be in search mode for whichever program your using.I dont bother with the waist high method like a person would with the DFX.I just find a clear spot using pinpoint and hold the coil to the ground then pump it.Make sure to release the enter button first or it'll be locked in pinpoint.

Same here...When I turn it on I squeeze the trigger twice to get in search mode...squeeze trigger and find a clean spot for balancing...Like Nugget I don't do the waist high thing! Also, If you have Autotrack on, it will rebalance as you hunt. Usually I have mine off and rebalance when I want to.
