Ground Balance Question

New member
I have had my V3i for about 6 months now and am starting to get a good feel for the thing. I have a program I really like, in short it is a best data mixed mode, w/ stero, locktrac etc. The problem I have is that when I go to GB the unit it does not bring up the alternating arrows at the bottom of the screen. My other programs do but this one doesn't. I am guessing it is some stupid little setting I am missing but I have no idea which one.

Thanks in advance

Nowhere does it say the arrows have to shift back and forth. If after balancing if you go to pinpoint mode and the the sound doesn't change as you lower the coil you are balanced. The arrow simply indicate the machine is trying to a new balance point because the ground has changed.

Do you have the arrows turned on? I think that is an option but I don't know where it is right off hand, look in the advanced/expert ground balance menu.

I think he just wants to see the arrows in his program Rob.

Thank you that is exactly what I wanted to know, it is forever filed away in the darkest depths of my mind.
