Went out after work to a hard hunted park and rescued another green Indian Cent. 1891 and looking like it had been lost the day it was minted and from only two inches deep.

That is a beauty Steve.

That is a killer INDIAN congrat :twodetecting:: I have found a lot of Indian in the park that I hunt that are in the one inch and two inch range . So if you thing that the Indian head penny are all going to be deep then I will dig the one and two inches one

Nice cent--thats why i dig anything with a good tone, even if it is only 1-2 inches deep--Found a 42 merc dime last week in Carthage Il--6 inches--

Beauty Steve I like them green coins - next best thing to silver for me! ;-) Occasionally I find those green coins out here in Germany as well and I don't do anything with them besides a little soap and water.

Why do you think others passed it? was it in iron?

Thx,
EMS
