Great weekend beach hunt big silver quarter trifecta and dime trifecta.

I’m calling this spot the flat that continues to give up the goods!
I took advantage of the minus tides which are extra low and working the same flat I believe to be a old swimming area paid off with some more crusty silver a SLQ a very worn barber quarter and a Washington.
The 1953 Ben Franklin half was very deep and was coming in as a iron signal but if you hunt in the salt you have to dig these signal a lot of times they’re very deep coins often silver to.
A toasted worn barber dime a mercury dime and two Rosie’s
Also found a brass sinker that’s a first a 1907 V nickel a brass escutcheon and a religious medallion All using the Manticore beach low conductor
Thanks for looking
Mark

Thanks it’s been a great spot and Saturday seemed like coins were all over again maybe because I slowed down but so far 3 half dollars from one area still amazed me the Franklin was deep and when it was out it was a screaming 92-94 I knew what it was

I went back tonight for a quick hunt 3 more silvers two mercs and a barber which was so crusty it’s half the coin it originally was when I broke the crust off I believe 1907 the Mercs I can’t read

Great spot you found Mark! Big silver is fun. Are you hitting any old pennies there or is it just silver?
Up here we have a winter storm coming in the next couple days with up to 10 inches of snow.

Wow ! Another fine silver haul. Congrats. Fine spot you have there. Continued success. Mark

Thanks Dave Jeff and Mark Dave yes I am getting pennies worn down to nothing I can barely tell if they are wheats indianss or memorialsthey come up in the 40's so does the crusty silver dimes
they ring in at the same number so its a dig all even the iffy signals
From the looks of it not too many dig coins in the shape I find the signals can be horrible no matter what detector I use but I do prefer the Manticore in these spots

Great spot Mark. I've never found a silver half. Closest was a 68 Kennedy half 40%, in a soccer field.
I'm curious, those ocean silvers are pretty rough, do you sell them for melt?
