Gotta ask........ is the etrac worth the $

Don't be swayed by those who say the Sunray X-1 makes it too heavy or who wants another cord. I started with the X-1, and since have acquired a Propointer, so I haven't minded the 'extra' weight. Sometimes a product is so good that a little extra weight will make a big difference in the quickness with which you find the coins. That little X-1 is a 1" coil that you switch between it and the main coil, and all the detector settings and the sounds of the detector are active ,, through it, when you have it switched on. It's not only just for pinpointing. Because you can use it in discriminate or all metal, it can tell you a little more precisely what might be under the 3" plug you just pulled out. It and a Lesche/Predator digging tool are almost mandatory in my book.
The Propointer is sweet. The X-1 is sweeter. jim

Yes.

I'm loving my E-Trac and would make the purchase again only sooner if I could turn back time. However it may not be for everyone especially if you like simplicity and a beep and dig detector. JMO

[attachment 165627 102SILVERFINDS002.jpg]Hi: In the past decade I switched over to Minelab due to the fact I felt the other machines were not producing, period! Good machines but stuck at a certain level and not advancing so then
I stated with the first Explorer to The XS then to the SE. Went ahead to the SE Pro, the results on each have stepped up dramatically. I purchased the E-trac and that was at retirement. I then decided to become a dealer and have not looked back. I then added the SunRay X-1 probe and after a good go with it added them to my line of goods too. The tone ID system and its vesatility is great on these machines. Cut to the chase: Yes it was and is worth the money a few pics here are worth it too. Amazing machine.[attachment 165628 102SILVERFINDS.jpg]My silver finds have been steady and some have been unbelivable.I like results of the products I sell and Minelab delivers, I see a lot of hype on the net about Minelab they are in transition and growing with that comes change and folks generally do not change easily but results wtih the equipment keep piling up,hard to dispute.[attachment 165630 Texascoinsjavelina028.jpg] With that in mind buy the E-trac,get the X-1 probe add a small loop to the line up and you are ready to rock, practice read Andy Sabish' book and go,out of box is amazing too. Good luck. [attachment 165631 Jillmisc.pics08024.jpg] Results await you for sure. Got any questions always willin to help:
Good diggin: Hardrock
