Got my TRX back from the Virginia Facility

I have not had it out yet, but they fixed and shipped (including new AA holder) for about 80 bucks. Now I have 2 of them since there is no better pointer!
 
Makes me wonder 🤔 why the TRX couldn't still be in production & why Garrett didn't jump on that?.. being so ' still have one new in box.. ⛏️ I believe they still out preforming the latest p/ptr.
 
Hi Ted, did u ask repair if they knew of replacement covers?. Let me dig threw a couple places,,, & get back with you.. I did see a place that had them. Did ur wear out ??.
 
My push button on the housing broke! And I did get one ordered that will ship Monday. It was from Centreville Electronics Northwest. The fella's name is Todd Marshall. He said he had several housings in stock for the TRX. This is the only pin pointer I have owned and I tell ya it sure is a Dandy!!

Hello brother, it certainly is a dandy !!. I never took out of the box yet, when the carrot drops off ' .. then I might... Thank you for the info...on where! Approximately cost of case/ housing?? ⛏️.

Absolutely, ! I seen some TRX covers ..& now it's not listed, I'm still digging into trying to find it again... I didn't think they'd vanish like that.. but.. I'm sure u use a tip protector..!

TRX , doesn't have as thick case as others , it'll last for long time if not used as a digger ,as I've seen from a buddy that jams it in the ground..🤣. & Wonders why it's not working properly..
 
Here's an update!! I got the housing in the mail and installed my old assembly into the new housing in about 2 minutes! Probe is like new again! :thumbup:
