Was able to play with it for a little while before the snow started.I can tell it is going to be a power house on nickels and gold :thumbup:I have a 9" deep silver Rosie in my test garden and with a GB of 80 it just would peep now and then only with every thing maxed out for depth. Not any ways near good enough to find while in the field.Still very impressive as I have tried more than one machine with a $1,000 or higher price tag that would not hit it no matter what I tried.

Found the coil and phone connection to be a non-issue but I have hands that are on the smaller side and nimble fingers .:)
Looking forward to putting it through the paces as soon as the weather permits,Ray.

Glad to hear you like your AT Pro! I'm also glad to hear it beat some of the more expensive detectors in your test garden. I ordered my AT Pro from Kellyco today...and I have snow to deal with as well. Keep letting us know how the Pro performs for you!

Its a great detector in my west Texas soil. Since I got the AT Pro about a month ago, I have found 2 silver Washington quarters, 2 silver Rosie dimes and 16 wheat pennies. They found in city block park built in 1924 which I have hunted many times, lately with an Explorer II and a Safari. The depth ranged from 4 to 9 inches, most around 8 inches. I was shocked to find this many coins behind the Minelabs in a well hunted park. My first hunt there was in 1969 with a D-Tex. I am very interested in hearing how it works for you on deep coins.

I remember someone saying a while back that they couldn't get a good hit on some gold they have in their test garden. They almost maxed out the GB and said it started hitting the gold hard. They added that if you run a low GB it will hit higher conductors (silver coins) harder, and if you run high GB it will hit the lower conductors (gold) harder. Anyone else try this?
