Got my first buckel

Got out for an hour after the lawn chores were done. 3 buttons 2 with shank intact 2 🐂 Ox shoes and this old buckel it's pretty heavy what type is it ??

Never been to an area where that era buckle could be present. Its fun seeing the stuff here and the guys that know such stuff!!!
 
Probably a militia buckle before the civil war, a sword belt plate and used in civil war. Great find. Here is a similar one I found in South Carolina.

This was at the same site I know some of u have already looked at but maybe with the buckle it will be easier to figure out what it is

1851 Officers plate with wide tongue, and see gold gilt and the silver wreath (often missing) in background of 3rd pic on original post. The other eagle piece might be remnants of a powder flask.
