Got a new AT gold on order

We need to encourage, not discourage the early adopters of any new machine on the market. If they don't sell, they will not reach their full potential.

Jason, looking forward to seeing your results with the AT Gold!

HH, Eric (NH)

Thanks
Eric I am kind of a detector nerd I guess. I like any thing new and buy and try a lot of new detectors. There are a few I hold on to and a lot I do not. The pro is a keeper. Have converted a few other guys around here to the pro also. I was the first guy to get one around here, have 6 hunting buddies that all own one now. Sold a G2 today good detector I am just betting the AT gold will be better. Time will tell.

Dont mean to hijack this thread. If your on the beach and looking for gold would the AT gold be preferable to the AT pro and really how are the two machines really different?

I don't think Garrett recommendeds using the AT GOLD around salt water. Since nobody 'cept John has an AT Gold yet  the question is up in the air until Garrett releases the GOLD

In other words you know as much about it as we most of us do!

The freq will be different. I would think with some adjustments the Gold could be made to work on the beach. The higher freq will be more sensitive to salt than the pro.
