Good Target Testing
After you get a target located...using tight wiggles over it, centering the target in the middle of the coil.
A good target will hit in any direction with the same pitch...Any direction you try.
A nail or other trash item will change pitch or often go silent as you turn 90 degrees and
change the direction of your swing. I often circle the target quickly to test it just for a
pitch change or a silent target. Also make sure the target pinpoints exactly where it was centered on your coil.
Most people know this , but few people do it.
The excitement of a silver or gold dig causes people to ignore the time it takes to test their targets.
You know it.....why not use it?
