Glad that i'm a glutton for punishment as i went back to the lawn that has really bad emi and found this melted gold nugget that weighed 5.63 grams along with the Merc, Wheat, dog tax tag and the "bullet". The nugget was made by someone melting down gold items to make it. The lawn is right next to a bar that has been there forever so i'm assuming someone got drunk and laid down on the lawn and it fell out of their pocket, lucky me. Also it was about 5 inches deep. I really didn't know it was gold right away but thought it might be by the weight of it. I really can't believe i found a gold nugget in a lawn!! What i first thought was just a bullet turned out to be a fake that has a hole drilled thru it to put on a chain and i've seen them pictured before but don't know the significance of it or what it means. Also i was using the ORX that i won and was running it in Fine gold mode. Go figure.Happy Thanksgiving and HH. Jim

Cartridge-- was hanging from a keychain. i made lots of these when I was a kid: pulled out the bullet, dumped the powerder, then reseated.

Patience wins the clock. Either some poor passed out drunk like you said or is the area in-between the bar and the parking lot? Fumbling for keys drops more items than anything. Gold, thats cool!!

The parking lot is right behind the bar with another small lot behind another building then the lawn. Jim
