interesting topic had fun reading it, i have never dug a gold ring thinking i know this is a gold ring 
i hope every nice sounding target is a gold ring but unfortunately its not 
if it was that easy i probably wouldn't detect it wouldn't be a challenge and i wouldn't have to think about what i am doing so if a machine could tell me 100% every time this is gold what would be the fun i would just go swing and not be present in the moment until the machine said yep 100% gold below.
all those bits of junk add up to gold and when it pops out the joy is amazing because all my hard work paid off
only way i know how to find gold is hard work and time out in the field, keep swingin and keep diggin, was with my DF today and every target i wanted it to be gold, lucky one was and it made my day, and it sounded nice too but so did a lot of others but only one was gold............
