gold ring find

hey everybody, have a question to ask. went in backyard of a house i just got and found a gold ring. what i need to know is the writing inside.
inside the ring has AK18KTURKEY. LET ME KNOW PLEASE
 
It believe it refers to 18k gold content. If it were 24 k that is the highest contet I think.
It was probably made in Turkey. Too bad you could not have sent a picture.

Also Ankara is the Capitol of Turkey.
18k means 18 parts gold and 6 parts other metals.
18+6= 24 So it would seem that 24K is all gold.
