Ellendale is a great example of a tent-city that only lasted for about a year... It could be that there is artifacts.
Do you happen to subscibe or can get a copy of Western & Eastern treasures.... It will have a short
article in the August issue which hits thew newsstands soon. many Epithermal deposits were short
lived and while active had a large tent-city following...Jim

epithemal precious metal deposts have been overlooked... but today with the current
gold specific metal detectors they are now becoming better known... What detector is not
too important but being first is... js
