hi,
glad to see you all enjoying yourselves! i have not posted since 2007. in 2008 i put in a new kitchen + bathroom so i did not get to detect much at all. the only picking i got in 2008 was on 7/29 a 14.6g 14k ring. i thought it was a bushing at first but it was stamped 14k and acid tested for 14k so that was a nice present from the pixies!
i did very little detecting in early 2009 but managed to do more in sept/oct. my pickings count from 2009 is: 9/2/09 - 4.2g 18k ring, 9/2 - 1.5g 10k ring, 9/3 - 2.9g 14k ring, 9/5 - 16.3g silver ring, 9/7 - 2.5g 14k ring, 9/8 - 1.96g - 8kring, 9/13 - 4.1g silver ring, 9/15 - 4.7g 14k ring, 9/15 - 2.5g silver ring, 9/15 - 1.4g silver ring, 9/17 - 6.6g 14k ring, 9/19 - 7.5g 14k ring, 9/19 - 3.2g 14k ring, 10/6 - 0.8g 14k pixie ring - 2diamonds + 1crystal.

Anyway, the reason i was trying to remove the coil (i had the 10
