Getting me a T2+ soon

chuck said:
You need to read the manual to get the correct info on the boost mode. BP is a boost mode that is set by changing the settings. There is also a boost mode that kicks in when you set the disc. to 50. It also kicks in at a setting of 5.

I just turned on my T2 and ran my disc up to above 50 and bP mode did not kick in. On my T2 bP only kicks in when I raise the # OF TONES to the highest setting.

It’s a shame the website you ordered from wasn’t correct. The T2+ is currently in back order at the FT factory in El Paso, so. Everyone has to wait...

I un-ordered mine from one place and a friend of mine who is a seller pulled some strings and got me one a few weeks ago. Oh yea, Live is sweet. :beers:

Its not the boost mode (BP) you can only get that by changing the tone switch to BP. There's a increase in sensitivity or power when the disc gets to 5 and I believe 50, you can hear the detector start to chatter more at the setting. You would have to see the manual to get the exact numbers

Tony Your move only increased the gain signal.. it does not turn on BP..check your instruction book for the proper explanation.

Tony, so sorry the T2+ fell through. I have one (and 5" coil) and love it . This is my third since the original. I quit trying to figure out M.D. companies a long time ago. Some are simply not supportive of their customer base.

[size=large]A friend is letting me use his 3.5 x 6.5 coil to see how I like it.
I tried it in my coin garden. It is hitting my 10" buried dime and penny!

Will your 5" coil do that?

Tony mentions dealing with a company. I never think of my dealer as a company. Sorry about that.
