*** GENERAL COIN & SILVER PROG FOR UK ***

New member
Hi chaps & ladies... dont know if this is gonna work... anyways i have been developing a good allround single frequency program for UK users that works very well on pasture and stubble. it has been written as a general search program with copper and silver coins in mind killing off most foil and alu signals. I know you may miss the gold if its there but we cant have our cake and eat it LOL !!! I have also written this with old xlt and dfx users in mind keeping tones simple and easy to translate. deep targets will come in at a lower volume but are still easily disernable. its also designed for intermedite speed so a leisurely swing should be used. it has been tried in the field and also on test targets buried at various depths from 4" to 10" easily finding a half crown at ten inches and a hammerd sixpence at 8" using both my 5'3 coil and super 12. Obviously i cant give any guarantees but it appears to be a good benchmark to work from for UK users.

P.S i have turned icons off in configure !!!!

all the best rob

UPDATE !!! have been tweakin here and there and have found i have been able to run discrim as high as 95 with RX @ 9 with my 5'3 coil. also lowering the recovery rate (shortening the time on recovery aka lower number so as to avoid confusion) has quite a dramatic effect on how targets sound and with a little personal tweaking you will find the number that suits best. I know recovery can effect depth but to be honest on field tests it was so little it really made no odds. You chaps in the USA who are old DFX & M6 users may like this one but will have to make a few alterations to discrimination numbers to fit in with your coinset. So far i have had a mixed bag of stuff as far as silver goes with VDI numbers ranging from 28 through to 84 the highest being on a george 3rd shilling. The 5'3 coil will find very deep for its size but only where ground conditions are favourable, i have found most good targets seem to have come in at 5 to 6 inches with the exception of the stubble field i have been on the last few days where all finds have only been at 2-3 inches.

I actually feel i am starting to win with this machine at last and feel very confident in the effect any tweaks will have when made. whites really have created a new benchmark here that has already proved to me it was worth the money !!!

all the best rob

Will give this a try next time out for you and report back on findings !!!!
