Garrett's new atpro headphone adaptor

Yes it is dealer brochures mailed to them from Garrett.

Alan

My sincere appologies if I offended some of you with my opinion about the price of the adapter, :please:
I guess $39.00 pales in comparison when considering the ability to use those $400 headphones.
Hey, it's a forum and it's an opinion. I'll probably have one of those babies attached to my pro as soon as they hit the market.
I love this stuff! Just like to stir the drink once in awhile.
Maybe that's just the MSRP?
Wonder if the dealers will offer free shipping? Hmmmmmm? :surrender:

Hey....no problem at all. Some people want to use their own headsets, and you have the three choices:

1) Buy the adaptor Garrett Builds
2) Hard-wire the end of your favorite headset to fit the existing adaptor on the AT Pro
3) Build your own adapter to compliment the AT Pro and any 1/4" jack.

This is what forums are all about. Things can get a little hot at times, but just remember, that metal detecting is a hobby and hobbies are meant to be enjoyed. :)

Good luck with whatever you get and please keep posting on the Garrett AT Pro forum.:beers:

Not to mention - mud flaps, running boards, sunroof, fancy cd player and even wheels. So if I have to buy a few things to make the ATpro the way I want then so be it. Garrett had to find a stopping point or the machine would have cost hundreds more than it does.

It would be great if Garrett made an adapter long enough to be used with the Gizmo that just moved the stock headphone jack. That way the Garrett blue waterproof headphones could be used without mods or worry while having the preferred rear-facing end-of-shaft jack as found on Minelab and some Fisher machines. I never was a big fan of headphone jacks coming out of the rear of the control box.

Thanks

Bik

Somewhere in all the traffic about the new adapter there is a message about connecting the headphones to the adapter.
The message had some pictures of a flat case with a plug and I think the writer furnished a parts list and also some advice.

Can anyone help me on this??

Thanks very much.
