Has anyone used the Garrett SuperWand Pinpointer? How does it compare to the Garrett Pro-Pinpointer for coin hunting?

It should work fairly well. The Pro-Pointer is based on one of Garrett's security scanners, the THD, converted to coin pinpointer, but why would you want to pay more money for something that does the exact same thing.

:usaflag:And also...Is the Superwand water resistant? It does'nt say it is. The only thing that I wish my pro-pointer had, is a low battery indicator. But honestly I have no complaints at all..:usaflag:

Your pro pointer does have a sound alert when your battery gets so low . Its sounds like a british police car siren when it goes off . I had mine go off twice last year , its easy to tell cause its a totally different sound than the normal sound .

:usaflag:Ahh...I did not know that..maybe because it has'nt happened yet..ha-ha..thanks Harold.:garrett:

Size, performance and cost. Why would you pay more to carry around a bigger wand to accomplish the exact same thing. I agree with UW. The pro pointer is the way to go, perfect size, perfect performance and built like a tank!:garrett:

yes the propointer is the best way to go...:garrett::clapping:
