I've been on the Garrett web page checking as many details as possible for future purchases. One thing I can't determine from their site though is to do with the batteries. They state the Scorpion uses 3 x 9volt batteries but they don't specify if rechargeable batteries can also be used with good success. Anyone know the answer? Thanks

You need to use the 8,4 9 volt NiMH batteries. I average about 3 hunts per charge.
