Garrett pro pointer vs Sunray probe

There's two field tests on the Pro-Pointer at the top of the page. Click on Sun Ray's banner for my field test of their probe mounted on the 250.

I have both, the sunray is on my 2500 and I use the propointer with my 250.
I actually prefer the propointer.
In terms of depth they are fairly similar but I like the convenience of the stand alone unit
