Garrett Achiever

Just purchased a old Garrett Achiever at a yard sale. Looks to be in near perfect condition everything works. Serial number is 6ELL. I wondered if anyone could tell me the year of this detector and how it functions
Does anyone know where I could find an owners manual in pdf format. Thanks to all and good luck hunting.

I don't have a manual, but I found an interesting archived PDF of "The Machinist" published in 1976 with a classified add for a used Garrett Achiever listed as $165 new, for sale at $85.00 and stated to be a "few years old". If you open the attached link, and search for Garrett, you'll see the actual add.

Garrett's archived manuals don't list it, but may an e-mail to them may provide some luck

Contact Malinda at Melinda.Harper@garrett.com She may be able to help you out. Garrett has manuals online at their site. Don't know if they have that one or not. Check it out.
