Gamma 6000 versus Omega 8000

Plantinum has the same body as say a chevelle ss but the omega is a ss and has the 396 375hp and the platinum has the the 307 cubic inch 157hp and is a malibu...

Gamma and platinum are very similar, still - there are a few variations in the software:
The platinum has a automatic GROUND BALANCING procedure, simply push the ground-grab button (in all metal mode) while holding the coil about 2 inches above ground. The display shows temporarily the mineralization up to 99.

The gamma displays additional (on the left top of the screen) 4 soil conditions,

Woof/Dave Johnson needs to chime in on this..The platinum and gamma only share the same control housing,the guts inside are not the same and they don't even share the same coils..

The Platinum is a Bounty Hunter. Bounty Hunters are marketed to a different audience and has different sales restrictions. The Platinum reaches "towards" the Gamma performancewise, but wasn't designed to compete with the Whites, Minelab types in that specialized sales arena. Bounty Hunters can be bought off of the shelf, at any cost. Teks are regulated to be sold through professional dealers and restrictions apply that doesn't allow any dealer to undercut another. FTP puts their higher standards on the latter.
