Future of Metal Detecting

I've always thought that our hobby is pretty "green." I mean if your following the metal detector code of ethics you are taking a bunch of crap (pull tabs, bottle caps, aluminum cans etc.) out of the ground and throwing it in the garbage or recycle bin. You may say... "Well if its buried what difference does it make....?" But some metal stuff can become an environmental hazard as it decays. Think about it, we sure send a lot of tax dollars cleaning up land fills.:laugh: If a coin shows up once in a while that's our reward for taking care of the planet... Right?:stars:
