Four and a half cents the hard way

Thanks Bootyhoundpa, It can happen to the best of us LOL I am right on the house I ran into the fireplace base {brick in situ} last time out. I believe it just rotted down no evidence of burning other than right around the fireplace.

At this point in time I’m willing to make you a profitable deal, trade you my last weeks shiny ‘61 quarter for your 4.5 cents!!!! C’mon, ya trust me right?????
Jealous, we just dont get those around here…..

I know how you feel about "location", I see people back east find colonial and I'm envious. Do you have natural gold in your area?
HH Jeff

Grounds froze but I don't give up without a fight. I have been shelf cutting an early site about 18 inches and detecting my way down. The nails/iron are thick as can be on this house site and are masking goodies as I imagined. Surface detecting has brought some memorable finds in the past large cents, half dimes. counterfeit shield nickels. countless civil war buttons to name a few. So, with the owner's permission I am conducting a "Time Team" inspired dig "by myself" LOL
1852 large cent with signature LOL
1868 3 cent nickel My second in 2 months
2 more "Tokens" CMH 7 and CMH anchor
cut Indian head 187?
silver plated dogs head
Lots of glass, pottery and brick
HH Jeff
Nice Diggins
Congratulations

Now if you'll please post the GPS coordinates.....
😁

You have made some incredible finds! You did "kiss" that large cent pretty darn good. 😬😬 This is wonderful the landowner is allowing you to perform an archaeological dig. I can't wait to see what else you discover. Did you even feel the cold? 😂
