FOUND LADIES ROLEX WATCH IN THE OCEAN IN SOUTH FLORDIA, IT MUST HAVE BEEN IN THE OCEAN A LONG TIME THE CASE IS SHOT WERE THE BAND GOES ITS ALL WORE AWAY,BUT IT IS STILL WORKING IT STOPS AND STARTS WHEN YOU TAP ON THE TOP RUNS FOR TEN MIN, WOULD THIS BE STILL WORTH ANY THING OR WOULD IT BE TRASH CAN THE INSIDE BE TRANFER TO ANOTHER CASE

It's possible that you have the real thing but there have been too numerous to count fakes of Rolex sold. I hope it's real but don't get your hopes up too high. Still must have been exciting to find.

Hi clyde; No matter what remember at least your heart is still ticking .!!!!!!!! Even though have stopped for a few seconds !!!!!!! :lmfao: Nice Find. PEACE:RONB

Clyde ... wont Rolex rebuild that watch for free?
If not for free then at a very small cost?
Call them and see.

If it is real that is.

Rolex will not rebuild any watch for free unless it is under warranty. Usually a Rolex will not suffer much corrosion because it is gold and stainless steel. It may tarnish but will not corrode badly. They designed and build those watches like a tank.

If it is badly corroded, then it is probably a fake. I would take it to a jeweler that sells Rolex watches and have them look at it first before deciding it is a fake or not. Lots of $39 fake Rolex's out there.

If it is a real Rolex the case should be good. I pulled a rolex GMT with 18K trim a while back. It has a light fog inside and had been down years. When I opened the back I t was a genuine rolex. I cleaned it and put it back together. It ran well and i sold it for 2,400. Usually genuine Rolex's will be dry but not always. I have also pulled a couple that were fake. both had flooding.

Hey, Rolex does not do anything for free. I have one. a clean is going to cost a minimum of $365. They want you to do it every 3 years. when you purchase a trolex, the expenses only begin with the purchase.
