So, the wife and i went to Gold Beach Oregon for five days to get away from the smoke and heat here in Northern Nevada. Of course i brought my detector but I didn't detect the beach as where we were at the beaches get very little use so i detected a couple hours at a small park. I detected where there were a couple of small grandstands behind home plate of a softball field and only managed to find 5 Zincs and 1 clad dime. I also detected along the sidewalks and in another grassy area and found nothing. I decided to go over by the restrooms where there was a small tree and right underneath it i found an aluminum token and this silver ring. The ring appears to be not very well made, as you can see, and the stones look to possibly be synthetic birthstones but i'm not complaining. I'll get them checked out to be sure and it was a nice surprise after finding so few coins. HH Jim.
