DON'T do anything to that like people have suggested with clear tape etc. DO NOT do it!!!! If it's real, you'll probably ruin it. It needs to go to an expert!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i have not done anything to it, small pieces are coming off as we speak but nothing to major i haven't handled it a bunch at all its just to fragile. but i did stick it inbetween the pages of a book to keep it from falling apart anymore. i plan on taking it soon to have it looked at i just cannot see how this is really real. i think its a remake an some kids thought it would be funny to bury it in a jar i can say when i was a kid we did that to . So it still might be old but its not an original well i dont think anyways. would be very cool if it were an i would probably crap my pants . the only stories i get from around here is just a bunch of old cattle rustlers lived back here.. found lots of old barbed wire to prove it .

Do what you want, but, I wouldn't put the item between plastic laminate (clear sticky paper). This would render the item impossible to inspect without drastic destruction. Carefully place the poster parts on a sheet of glass and cover it with another sheet of the same size. Securely tape the full length of all sides. Do not store it in bright light, especially, direct sunlight! Dark is best.
