Hi,
Been detecting for about a year. I found this in my backyard. Have also found some drop bullets and harmonica parts which leads me to believe there may have been a camp nearby. Sorry for the picture but this camera is a pain. The object appears to be made of brass (has a green patina) and is about 1.5 inches long.
