Was detecting at old H.S. that we have found Silver at before

Did not find much more than Clad this time except for a 1947 Wheat

But found what appeared to be a Half of a Old Coin

After l;looking at it under scope and checking the Net it is a Match!

I just broke the 1800's :detecting: in the USA ( I did that in England but that does not count here)

Tried my best with photo's

Nice find...you've been on fire lately!!!
Congrats,
Bunker

Sound great half or whole !!!!! good job

Congrats Eva! That's awesome. What did that come up as on your E-Trac? That surely is an interesting find that must have had an interesting TID. Thanks for sharing and talk to you soon. HH -Marc

Nice find! I didn't even realize that the title was wrong, I read it as copper
Now if you really wasn't to impress you'll find the other half of it.

Title read as copper to my eyes too :)
Congrats on a very nice find !
The only one I ever dug is smooth except for CON along one edge, good 'nuff ..
Keep em comin :clapping:

Congratulations Eva. Thanks for the picture. You are on fire already this year!

For the record, I knew you meant COPPER and not COOPER. An 1800's COOPER would be an even more rare find.

It came up like a Quarter, 12-46

I had a LC also come up with that number

Very nice Eva and "coongratulations" We have all have made typos but not all have made such an interesting and nice find!

Whether it is a cooper or a copper
Or a hooper or a hopper
Nor a stooper or a stopper
Your find is super duper!
