For Those With The 17" Coil...

My previous experience with the big coils, SEf 18x15 on E-Trac, was that I gained some increased depth, and more important for me was increased ground coverage. I am using it mainly for ring searches in mostly clean, large grass areas. If there is trash then it is not to helpful. If I am hunting coins then the stock coil is fine, or in high trash the little 6 should work well.
