For those of us that have or are running a 5900 or 6000. Cool video. :yikes:

I'd like to see a US service, too. Hmmmm...wondering if can be done just as easily with a DP6000SL? Good instructions and a local electronics person, friend or business, would get the job done.

If you buy the board does it come with instructions for installing?
Yesterday me and my son decided to go to Galveston beach and detect for the first time in years. We picked up a Radio shack detector that my father in law had given me before he passed away. It is a small inexpensive machine, but it has the same sound feature. It has 3 different tones based on the metal. Pretty neat really.

I guess I have been out of this great hobby so long, I don't even know what is available. Finding the Whites 5900 motivated me to get back out there. All I can compare it to is my old Garret Groundhog. It seems to be basically the same type of machine as far as operation goes, analog of course. It is much lighter and pinpoints very well.

Now I am wondering of the new digital machines really can pick up gold without picking up pull tabs :)

I give a preliminary schematic sketch. ANY additional info on the PCB would be GREATLY appreciated and ONLY YOU I hope and believe are able give all info to everybody here. a big mystery of this device WILL BE blew out like the soap bubble in summer day.

have a nice day

I would like to get the mod and install it myself. 140 Euros is what $180. That's a deal for this mod. How do I get more info?
John

Yeah Megadivers,
Any ideas on getting it done on a machine?

I had two tones kits sold one and installed the other on my Mint Condition 6000XL Pro....I eventually
sold it....Hated the tones! There isn't a tone machine around any better than the one below!!!!
But here is a thread on geotech for you that are interested in the Whites tone mod.....
