For the Tesoro experts

....isn't comfortable for me to work in. For what ever reason, my ears feel more comfortable in the relic mode. Not sure if I can explain it better, but it just feels better in relic mode.

However, in relic mode, I find that the MXT gives multiple tones (with trigger center) and it sometimes gets very confusing on when to dig. I guess I'm just used to the Tesoro simplicity. It took me a while to get a half way decent understanding of the MXT ( I don't get out to detect as much as I like due to work responsibilities) whereas with the Tesoro, in a matter of a couple times out I had it down.

Monte - let me ask you, you don't feel the Tesoros give decent depth in bad ground? I'm wondering how the Tejon would do in the high mineralization of centeral Virginia. Some say it doesn't do well, others have said it will do just as good as any other detector.
