How I Pick Apart a Park or School Playground</STRONG></CENTER>

There aint nothin wrong with picken up some clad. I have hit some small playgrounds and come out with 10.00 or better in change. Doesn't happen often though.
A friend of mine has come up with some nice silver rings from playground and school areas also.

It's all kind of like fishing, Art. Some people just take their fishing more serious than others. I'm a newbie at detecting, but I get the same thrill out of digging a "worthless" silver quarter as I did years ago catching a 2 pound cat. Now, after 20+ years of catfishing I don't even fish for anything UNDER 10 pounds, but I still kind of get a thrill catching a fighting mad 2 pounder. I hope I remain the same with detecting. I started doing it for fun, and I love it a lot even though I've not found anything worth more than a couple bucks yet. I'm sure I will as I gain experience and find my own "honey holes". But, I hope I never lose the thrill of "catching" that "2 pounder" in the years to come. Great job on the article and I'm sure there are a lot of "small cat" fisherman that will appreciate your tips!

I cashed in $220.47 in clad last year and I didn't even hunt as much as I'd have liked to. Nuthin' wrong with clad....it spends just like the new shiny stuff.

Hey Art,
That is some pretty funny stuff and I enjoyed reading it. You are a very good writer.
