Five silver dimes the hard way

Mcdetect

Active member
Ok so over the past week or so I've been hunting an old home site and have made some really great finds. So far I've found five silver dimes with the last one (found yesterday) being a really nice condition 1917 merc which is not totally unusual until I sat back and looked at my new collection...five dimes....each one a different type...a dime quin-fecta with absolutely no duplicates! How is that even possible! I know my next find will be a capped bust dime...Cant wait!

Way to go! In my area silver coins are very few and far between. I wish we had more. What were you using?

Etrac with stock coil. Still a good enough machine for me. I'm tempted by water machines like the nox but still swinging the etrac.

I have heard that the Etrac is really good at finding silver.
