Fisher CZ 6a mint like new value?

There is a difference between tom cert and not certified. cz5s I have seen go from 250$ and up and most I have seen have been in good shape. Now if you add Tom certified you can add 200$ to the price and you hope Tom added some depth to the detector and if it still only hits a dime at ten inches oh well.

Just remember the original CZ6A first came out in 93 and if you bought an early one could be 20 years or older.
CZ3D is the newest edition and even an original one would not be that old..
Therefore all depends on what model CZ as far as what its worth....

Dan this is correct the 3ds should and do bring more than other czs I am mainly talking about the cz5 and older.

Oh Yea............ you will.I had a hot CZ5 ............... All matched in parts in the plus minus acceptable variance from factory.

I tried 4 more after that and never was able to find another one that hot..

I just bought a NASA Tom certified CZ-5 for $459.00 on E-bay in mint cont. The CZ-6A is splash & rain proof the CZ-5 is not, that is the only difference between the two.

Just bought a NASA Tom certified CZ-5 in excellent cont. for $459.00 the CZ-6A are rain proof & splash proof. And does not have a external speaker, That is the only difference between the two models.

What is the difference between a CZ 6 and a CZ 6a. Been a long since I had the 6a.

difference between CZ5 and CZ6:
CZ5 was; analog, NOT rain/splash/dustproof.... had external speaker.

CZ6 was; analog, rainproof/splashproof/dustproof... no external speaker.

difference between CZ6 and CZ6A:
Basically the same unit however the original 6 had a molded plug that mated with the control box and also had a pigtail that came out of the opening for the headphones..You can tell if a 6 has been changed to a 6A as the plug is not molded and the pigtail removed and replaced with a black rubber headphone connect...Seems like they had problems with the molded plug and that's why the 6A ememerged....as far as depth stability and the like are the same unit...Of course the CZ6 had that decal on it even if changed to the 6A...and the improved version 6A will have the 6A decal.

"The manual for the CZ6 is the the same as the CZ5 manual", that is why you can't find it.

Same as "CZ7a" and "CZ7a Pro" only have one manual between them in "pdf" format.
