fisher 1270 problem...

Hi, Hey Try This, Do A Proper Ground Balance In All Metal Mode And If It Does Not Beep On The End Of Each Sweep Then Read What I Think It The Problem Is!! The Fisher Company Did Talk About Ground Balance But It Was For All Metal Mode.. I Have Heard That There Is A Trim Pot In The 1270 That Controls The Ground Balance In Discriminate Mode That Is Factory Set. Perhaps The Factory Setting Is Not Right For Your Ground Mineralization And Is Causing These False Signals..Maybe This Is What Is Wrong You Should Contact Fisherlab Company About This Matter.. I Have Read On Some Web Site Where Doing A Proper Ground Balance In Discriminate Mode On The 1270 Increases Depth As Much As Four Inches!! I Have Know Idea If This Is True But If You Find Out Please Let Me Know ......Thanks
