Had my first hunt today.used relic mode made some basic changes ran real nice only one coin 1804 half cent some buttons some lead cant wait till tommorow.try some other settings.have to learn to post pictures.

With finds like that you don't have to find very many each time out to have a great hunt. Pictures are snap as long as you don't start with them too large.

Wow, what a great first coin to find, congrats!
I would say on 90%-95% of my coin finds the three bars line up almost perfectly. Only when a coin is right near trash or in iron, does that not hold true (at least down to 6").
