First seated with the Manticore

Finding lots of goodies with the Manticore but this one has been eluding me. Same M.O. as before, old homesite hunted it multiple times different machines multiple people. I know a site is never hunted out but....this many targets, only one explanation. Note the rust from a chunk of iron on the crotal bell. 1871 on the buckle., plain on the seated dime.

This hobby is full of surprises. A new machine is always fun, especially when it produces that kind of quality on ground you have been over before yourself, not to mention others too.

Went back and looked at the pic with all the various finds, nice even color to the eye. Except for that silver circular thingy, I would go put that back as it clashes with the color scheme……. 🙄
