First run on the beach with 1.1 update

At the beach this morning after 1.1 update. Right out of the chute 93-94 VDI, deep in the dry sand at least 10-12 inches. Its a US coin looks like a date of 1912 (see pics), not sure of what it is, anybody know? I found a lot of junk jewelry (see pics), a ring. chain necklace, a couple of pendants and 1 earring. Nothing of value but kept me busy. All sounds were diggable with the chain having a iron buzz. The coins, cars, vape and sunglasses all gave diggable sounds and VDI. The dog choke chain gave off a iron buzz probably because of the rust but still a diggable signal. The trash, I dug a couple tent pegs but knew before I dug them that they were junk. The foil always 30-44 I usually dig. Today I didn't dig a single bottle cap, Overall I like the update it seems to really go deep and the sounds work well. I will continue to tweak settings as needed especially this holiday weekend.

Thanks for the info buck , i will be out with Version 1.1 Tomorrow for the first time. I did get a feeling that version v1.0 seemed a tad faster in modern trash than 0.71 but i can't be 100% sure of that.
I am pretty sure the D2 was finding much more coinage on highly trashed fair ground sites that i hunt. I have no doubt about that. I have been pulling deep copper coins out of one site i visit that
produced nothing but slaw with other detectors. I can honestly say i would never sell My D2. The D2 is the pinnacle of detecting power at the present time.
