I have read many Times about people finding nitros. I now know what they mean.
I was hitting a swimming area the Friday after memorial day that had ben gone over many times i could fill all the scoop holes as i walked.
But still i was finding stuff. I cant tell you how many old pop tops-beaver tails i dug man that excall goes deep. So any way i find a silver earring that was gold plated that got me excited!
They a few coins later and i scoop up a questionably loud signal it hurt my ear... I pull my scoop up and give it a shake or two & i see a diamond covered cross. (Shazzamm... i thought i was done with work and was detecting for life at that point.
My heart jumped to my throat and i almost cried.. I washed of the cross and took a better look at it and what heart stopper... Just like that a life time high and lo all in 30 seconds.. Ooh man that was so disappointing. About a hour later i found A set of praying hands that did the same thing to me.
Any ways I still feel good about the hunt as i came away with some targets in a area that was hit several several times before i could ever get to it.
I know It wont be long and i will have that elusive Big Bling Bling!
