First time out Saturday with the V. I could try to get some better pics up using my digital camera and a macro shot for added detail on the half cent, but I don't think you'd see much more. I know for certain its a draped bust type 1800-08. Being on 40+ acres of farm fields in arguably CT's oldest town I went with the HiPro program (after studying the parameters) only bumping up the gain to 12. I'm going to add the depth reading via the expert menu to Hi Pro search mode for future use.
 
So cool finds . I to think that the dx-1 works better on the Dfx I think it pin point better but now after 3 mouth with the V3i I am getting used to it. One thing that I did do with the dx-1 was I side mounted it and that made it feel a lot lighter. :twodetecting::whites::clapping:
