You should be able to get 80- 90 percent od spot based on the weight. Do the math spot x .585 x weight x .80.

Silver Max is killer for the price and light! Always, always, always get several offers from different places before you sell until you get to know what you are doing and find someone you trust. Then trust but verify! Congrats on the gold ring! The first is (nearly) always the hardest and slowest to find. Best of fortune in the next gold!
 
Thanks for all the great comments advice and private messages. I decided to keep this ring, at least for now. Our home was built in 1885. I've got a few silvers ,Indian heads and now this ring that were all found in our yard. It makes a fun little collection.
 
Nice find! All I've found at my place is construction debris, but my place is from 1890 so I'm not giving up.
