Good start did you get the 9"-11" coil? I like and prefer the 9" on both my D2 and Manticore

Yes the machine has many possibilities and ready for a lot of different hunting. As you use it keep it simple for a while as you learn it. Then learn about tone breaks as you can use them like discrimination and it work great.
