First Day out with Ace 250

And probably closed for good reason and may still pose a danger. Any way to research it and find out what kind of activities went on there?

I don't want to snoop to much as it might be dangerous, seriously! Plenty of rumors floating around. I think the evidence speaks for itself. The white deer are protected. The huge base is fenced off for miles. Most of the deer are on the base although I have seen one outside of it. There is a military apartment complex with quite a few units, a ghost town now! If you did a study on Cancer rates per area our region ranked #1 in the country. I'm not sure about the current statistics. Maybe thats why property is so inexpensive here???

I have never in my life seen a white squirrel! :surprised: Never even knew of them or heard that they existed. In the states that I have lived in they have been either brown or grey squirrels but white and black squirrels? No. That is a first.

In my younger days I traveled this land through many a state on foot. I have never seen a black squirrel ever, anywhere. When I moved to central NY in 89 soon after I saw my first black squirrel. I haven't seen many of them outside of Yates County NY except a bit to the north in Ontario County. Curiousity got the best of me. I started looking through encyclopedias old and new, no mention of a black squirrel anywhere. What is even stranger, some actually have blond colored ears and/or tails! I talked to a Gov Forest employee much my senior and asked if she ever heard of them as they have in their visiting area a huge glass display of local wildlife, one county over, no black squirrels! They sell books about North American wildlife, souvenirs etc. She pulled out her own book, no black squirrels! I ought to send her a photo, she probably thought I was a bit squirrely or nutty!!! (no pun intended!)They even take notes and then read em!Here's another one with a blond tail! And this poor guys all mixed up! <br>Just a note, the black squirrels are also known to be in parts of Kansas.

That is amazing! I have looked and looked and I can't find the "Crab Claw" setting on my Ace...

Oh yeah! Wheres he live?Yeah, wheres he live!

Are they albino by any chance? Ours in NY aren't, I have seen a albino squirrel,He's a albino, quite rare!

Wow that is bizarre! :yikes: That is a very weird mix of colors on that one. Very unique! And the black and white squirrels look pretty cool! Great pictures by the way!
