First - 14K ring & clad

It was constant and I knew or at least I suspected it was a good target. It just had that sound you don't walk away from. I was really stressed out that day and aggravated, also. I started to just walk away, but then I would have been wasting my time going metal detecting in the first place. I'm glad I dug it, tho. Happy days.
 
Yes, I have those days, too. I have to stop and take a few deep breaths and notice where I am and express my gratitude for this wonderful hobby that is always surprising and teaching me something new. It's always about balance, isn't it? Enough persistence to keep going and make that great find, and enough serenity to appreciate the day and realize that just being out in nature and getting some sun and exercise is reward enough.
 
Are we talkng a solid 53 signal or an if e 53-54-53 signal. A word to the wise dig all 49, 50, 51, 52, 53, 54, 55 signals. Sure yor going to get some pull tabs, but nickels and gold live right there.
