First - 14K ring & clad

I found this 14K ring today and it rang up at 53 on the DVI, the same area all the square pull tabs rang up and I almost didn't dig it. It had that tone that hinted maybe I should and I'm glad I did.

Wow congrats Fongu!! Nice find so did your audio sound a little better on the ring?

A beauty of a find .

Wow, she's a beauty, too! Congratulations! and thanks for posting the VDI - cruel that it read the same as a tab.

You sure worked for it! You put in the time and are a dedicated hunter, I'm very glad to see you got a nice reward! I hope this is the first of many for you!

The At Pro is a ring killer, it's also a nickel killer, and a Pull tab & beaver tail killer. We have to dig them all in order to pull the rings!

First anythings are exciting. First gold is exceptional. Congratulations on one very nice recovery. You won't be second guessiing those low 50s anymore, will you? At Pro is one great machine when tone ID is used in conjection with VDI ID. Now you've learned, go get some more.

The tone was more quality than the tone with the square pull tabs, I just had that feeling.

One of those quarters turned out to be silver. 1962 D Washington quarter, my first silver coin this year. I was so tired I didn't check it out with my magnifier until today.

Nice! Was the reading "bouncy" or relatively constant?

Gold AND Silver, very happy for you, fongu!
