Went back up into the mountains and detected the area around the rock foundation for a little over three hours and fond some neat stuff. 21 square nails, two axe heads, hammer head, square nut wrench, complete spoon and several pieces, 1853 suspender or dress buckle, Mother of pearl Barrette, four buttons, with one being Mother of pearl and two being porcelain and a real old Chinese coin made 1661-1722. Think i pretty much found what was there. HH Jim.

Those are definitely some interesting recoveries. Do you know the history of that feature in order to get old foreign coins??

There was a large Chinese population in Northern Nevada in the middle 1800s to the early 1900s working in small gold mining operations and a lot of them mining on their own claims. Jim
