Well my hunting partner was asked to check a wooded area in a town. The item we were searching for was discarded in the early 70's and was steel so I agreed to go. Being it was steel I hunted in relic mode and found close to 50 old cans and tons of nails( i was getting mad and wanted to leave it was like hunting at a nail factory) In relic mode some cans were coming in 11, 12 -42 to 12-45 like coins weird. I tried other modes but was afraid I would miss it while discriminating. About 3 hours into the hunt my partner found what we hope is the item and the detective recovered it. Now while we were talking we were told the town had an area that we could hunt we followed him to it. We walked in and looked around it's all thorn bushes awful area. As we were going back to the road and I found a plastic container and inside it was full of coins. Wow, Mostly penny's with a bunch of wheaties and a bunch of 1940-50s nickels, and some other foreign coins . Pennies were up to the 80's. Maybe 5$ in all, and one beat up 1965 dime and no quaters. I'll post pics of coins when I can.
