Find of my life!

I went hunting at the place where I found my seated dime earlier this year. I can not believe what I found using the TTF program. I'm still shocked! I never thought I'd find one of these in Indiana. I've linked a video to my youtube channel if you care to watch, or you can just check out the photos.

Wow that is awesome!

Hi there BD...Absolutely superb, even I can feel the excitement you're experiencing.

If only our finds could talk....imagine the tales it could tell.

Any local history known about the ground and house location ?

I love that period of American history, and can't get enough of it.......Matt......TheMarshall

Great Job! So nice that you can appreciate that and as others have said, wow, imagine the story there!

Enjoy,
Albert

Wow. That one is in good shape. Even has the clasp on the back.

I live and hunt in Tennessee...which is second only to Virginia for troop movements and battles fought in. I've relic hunted since about 1996 and have found a few plates...but not a US oval. That is #1 on my bucket list. Everybody I relic hunt with has found one of them...all except for me lol Congrats on yours....they're not easy to come by in any state!!

That is a find of a lifetime!!!! WOW!!!
I can't even think of a strong enough word of congratulatons.
